Lemmi appears at Morin's side, and flashes him a grin.
She pulls a dagger from her belt, then tilts her head and raises a questioning brow as if to suggest they continue.

Brother Walfried blinks his eyes, rolls his neck, and leans against the wall to stretch one leg, then the other, out in front of him. Then he returns to waiting at the propped open door, straining his ears for any sound beyond.

Morin waits at the corner for the rest of the scouting party. When they arrive, he stoops to speak to them in a hushed voiced. "I am suspicious of this passageway; we have turned several times, and should now be back upon the entrance. Perhaps there is a secret portal; perhaps there lies a trap! We must investigate.
"Once we are sure of this passage, we should return to the boat room, share our findings, and make new plans."

Morin proposes we continue in the described marching order around the corner, once the entire scouting party is assembled and ready.

The scouting group reforms the assigned marching order at the left-turn. Around it, they spy a 40-or-so ft passage which once again turns left into the dark... There is no sign of any portal along this next stretch of corridor; only the left-turn at its far end.
