(OOC; due to Tombowings having to pull out for now, I've had Wolfrick return to his NPC lifestyle. Dorgan instead encounters the alchemist on the street on his way back to the Plough and Furrow...)

Striding down flea street with his Holy water and new shield, Dorgan finds himself having to weave through an ever thickening press of Men and (overly well dressed, in his opinion) Snorks, all hurrying this way or that about some unfathomable business. He spies cobblers and street barbers aplenty, peddlers and merchants pushing all manner of goods to a point of getting right in his way.

Dorgan has just about had a gut full of all the hawkers thrusting useless stuff under nose when at last he spies a merchant fellow who might actually be of use to him. An alchemist, or so his sign does decry; For the beaten wooden sign reads Everyman's Alchemy, and hangs over a two wheeled push cart upon which is hunkers the Man's mobile store. He his it spilled wide so that his inventory of balms, oils, sands, fluids, grits, rare-earths and so on are displayed for the public.

The Man himself appears to be a somewhat eccentric chap who almost entirely lacks the talent of engaging with the buying public. And his grey cloak, worn shoes and generally scruffy appearance atest to this circumstance.

"well now," thinks Dorgan, recalling the mysterious vile attached to his dagger sheath...

"Friend Ulric," says Pelenwin when he recognises his companion. He rises and performs a Knight's bow from the waist, moving so much more fluidly in a white robe than he ever did in a full coat of mail.

"Alas," he explains, "My brother templars, Tor, Hector, Luesis, and Uther have departed on a mission to Maine just this week. Only Denim, Ghariet and of course myself stand for the Holy Seal here in Ket."

He gives a conciliatory smile.

"But these Men are Templars of the Hollow Citadel, as myself. They are not deeply learned in the histories and lores gone by. Perhaps the Deacon might be of assistance?" he suggests. "Though in truth, he seems scarcely happier than old Victor..."

She smiles wistfully, admiring the manner in which Gustave leans on her counter as he inspects his fingernails.

Olaf keeps his peace, but internally, he bridles at being referred to as "the lad."

After the pair leave the shop, Olaf asks quietly, "Where to now...cousin?"
