Rheager seems to pause for a long time starting at the sword, he feels the power of it even through the scabbard, slowly he breathes out and lowers his hand the scabbard still clutched tightly. Meanwhile Urist is happily scooping gold and copper coins out of the stone chest. With the practice eye of Dwarf he guess there is at least 4,000gp and 2,000cp and great haul coinage for sure!
Alrik stands to one side looking through the book... The title translates as "Evorshin's Tome of Enlightenment", the writing is Elven as he knows. It looks to be a complete lvl 1 and 2 spell book. Although he will have to sit and study it to make sure there are no hidden gems of knowledge within it's pages.
Elf and Cleric stand by the door expecting the worse......

Phadian turns to Rhegaer and gives him a long appraising look. Turning to Urist he says "There will be plenty of time to figure out how to get our spoils away from this place, but no use loading up on heavy and noisy coins when there are orcs still bout." Addressing group "I suggest we put the top back on that chest and deal with the other orcs in this place."

"I need time to examine this Elven tome, when we are in more comfortable surroundings, but I will not leave it here, it is far too valuable," Alrik says. He looks at Faeraidel with a knowing glance.
Alrik puts the book in his backpack and readies himself for departure.

Rhegaer agrees and asks for help in putting the top back on the chest.

Urist and Rhegaer slid the stone lid back in place, although the dwarf give the gold filled chest and extra pat or two as if he parting from a friend.
Back towards the opening they move, Rhegaer still clutching the scabbard of the obviously magical sword. Slowly the party moves down the eastern corridor.. 10 20 ... You hear strange echoes and rough voices that bounce down the corridor, pausing you listen, but nothing happens and the darkness and echoes continue....30 40 50 60 70 80 90 100 the corridor "T" opening North, continuing East. There is also a set of double doors to the south.

Phadian looks at the T in the corridor and double doors in great trepidation, whispers to group "Don't like this, not at all."

"If someone is behind these doors, perhaps we can draw them out to us?" Alrik muses.

"Aye, and the noise might bring more enemies from the north and east," cautions Urist. "But I am not scared of a few
orcs," he sneers. "If we draw them out and then fall back to the west, we can easily slaughter them as they come down the hall."

Standing at the T the party has a brief, whispered, conversation as to what to do next.....
mgt's roll comes to 1 [1 on 1d6]
Meanwhile, quiet unexpectedly, a chuckling voice cuts through the darkness from the north. The crude language is orcish and for those that understand it says.
"Ha, Grumbat, I told ya I'd get the crispy rat, you where almost right but there was 2 left when I got there, I had to stab Forbert in the leg to get the second....AHHH you're not Grumbat!!"
Everyone is surprised an Orc carrying two fried rats has stumbled into the party.
What now?

Rhegaer rushes the orc, drawing his new sword and attempting to strike it down before it can spread any word to others.
