Wiglaff quietly orders his men-at-arms into a defensive line in front of him, and they all back up away from the door. Wiglaff is going to retrieve his scroll of sleep from his pack, but is also prepared to cast color spray, depending on what comes through the door.

I'm not sure how this works. Does the sword translate to all of us, or just to me?

If it's just me, I'll relay that to the rest so we can be ready for the Hobgoblins.

The sword relayed it to you, but I figured you probably would not keep it secret, so to save time I just posted it aloud

Grampus asks, "What kind of squawkers are these Rhod? Have you a thought on this. I guess we need to prepare for their arrival and their greetings."

Franklin draws his sword and tells Sconces to stay back from the big bad bird men!

Maloof will temporarily pause his investigation of the chest while we deal with the hobgoblin incursion. For his part, he stands guard near the chest with mace at the ready.

Aldbane is ready with his hammer. He moves towards the door. "Let's flank the door and attack if them if they come out," he says.

"Indeed!"

Wiglaff orders his men to follow Aldbane's plan. He himself will stand at the other side of the room, spell ready should the fighters have difficulty.
