Aldbane has his staff of healing, so he'll use that to pull aside and peek behind first the east curtains, then the west. His hammer is ready in his other hand.

To the west is more checkerboard floor, and you can see the room expands by 10 more feet to a wall, and in the middle of the west wall is a 10' corridor leading to a door.
To the east is more checkerboard floor, and you can see the room expands 10 more feet to another curtain, but there is a door in the south wall

Maloof begins circling the room close to the wall, heading in a clockwise direction (east, then south). When he gets to the curtain on the eastern side, he will peek behind it. If nothing unusual happens or is discovered, he'll then head south (confirming the eastern door along the way, but not opening this door) on his way to the southern door. He'll stop there to listen at the southern door.
OOC: According to our map, there should be a door behind the curtain on the east wall, leading back to the elevator room.

There is still another vexing map offset. You do not see what kipper expects to see, but instead another 10' wide strip leading north south curtained off

Maloof will move east and peer behind the next curtain, then (hopefully) continue with his original plan.
Re: Map offset: No problem, I've just shrunk the size of the elevator room for now. Hopefully if we find a door in this next wall that will sort everything out.
