Unless anybody wants to go first, Rhod will proceed up to the openings and cautiously peer into the opening on the right. (Unless of course anything catches his eye before that.)

From the intersection, the North corridor goes 20' to a door, the East corridor 20' to a door, and the South corridor 30' to a door

"Suggestions?" Rhod whispers.

Straight ahead, then.

There is no sound from behind the door, and then Grampus manages to force it open. You see a 30-foot square room centered on the door, with a door opposite. In the floor is chalked a star in a circle, but no summoner's pentacle has yet been inscribed. In the northwest corner are candles and candelabras, plus some colored chalk.

Golguldir pads into the room behind the others, warning them: "Have a care not to cross into the summoner's circle... who knows whence it might send you?" As he passes the circle safely by he double checks that it is really marked with mere chalk and not, perchance, powdered diamond or platinum shavings...

"And mind yon clumsy boots, 'twould not do to scuff these marks!" exhorts Catweazle as he makes his way past the circle with exaggerated care.

It does look like normal chalk

Go around the circle and check the other door.
