That will be nice, assuming we can make it back to Ket and our house is still there and so on and so forth. The Gustave and Desmond/Mondes will both hit a new level.

Pretty sure it's 10k, as Dorgan is at 9,400 right now and is still level 3.

I was going off of this...

Experience Points
PCs of all classes require the same number of experience points per level, as per the OD&D Fighting Man (M&M, p16). I.e., 0, 2,000, 4,000, 8,000, 16,000, 32,000, etc.

Hmmm, perhaps Ways can settle this for us. Or maybe my XP count for Dorgan is off...

Pretty sure it's 2 4 8 16 and you are still 3rd because we have not spent a night in town yet. I'm still first but crossed 2K long ago. We still need xp from everything after the Wolfman fight.

Yes, regardless of class everyone requires:

2,000 XP for 2nd level,
4,000 XP for 3rd level,
8,000 XP for 4th level,
16,000 XP for 5th level,
and so on.


Yes, there are a bunch of outstanding XP awards pending; I plan to reconcile these before you get back to town.

That aside, it's still possible to have more than the necessary XP but not yet have "levelled up", if you haven't had a safe night in town since reaching the XP target.

But by my records (see the Vital Statistics table) Dorgan has 7,632 XP. Highbough has 9,488... maybe you just read the wrong figure? Or is there a rogue 9,400 figure somewhere else?

Speaking of... Desmond's is off by a hundred. I think he got some XP for figuring out the enigma puzzle? Or did he lose it going blind?
