OK, any concrete plans for doing whatever you might do when you barge in? Discrete actions specified for individuals?

I guess it depends on what we see... If there's an obvious leader who's leading the chanting, we should probably take them out first. Charge them for melee if they're within range, but ranged attacks if they're far off??
(Just throwing some ideas out for discussion)

Aldbane can open the door and we can see exactly what we are up against - we could charge in or fall back with missile weapons, or even close the door and flee depending.

We are just inside 31. We've already explored 14 (from the west). Assuming that the map is roughly accurate (and that the room in between isn't quite tall), the chanters' room must be relatively small and we'll be practically on top of them when we open the door.
They also have ample means to escape our charge west-ward, so Wiglaff pulls his sleep scroll from his pack. Once the door is open, he'll cast it as "deep" into the room as possible (so as to avoid sleeping any of the party), as an opener before melee is joined (and hoping to finish things quickly before they can escape). Once the scroll is cast he'll pull back & let the melee fighters thru, as he is currently unarmoured.
Let's make sure we have as many door-kickers as we can fit in case the door is stuck.

Sleep sounds like a good plan.

Sleep sounds like a great plan. If that fails, Franklin has his sword in hand.

Maloof is (uncharacteristically) ready to charge into the melee, he'll let Wiglaff get off a spell first though.

Grampus says, “I’m up for door bashing when the time comes, just tell me when and I’ll be weapon ready after the splintered gate is gone.”
