Thanks guys; I appreciate and am encouraged by your kind words but I can't take all the credit! It's a joint effort and as Olroda already noted we have some awesome players helping to make the game.

Regarding the possibility of posting more frequently; I honestly don't think I could fit that in. Truth is I might be moving to a different employment arrangement soon and I might have even less time available than I do now. We'll see.

The other side of it is--as Mgtremaine said--a careful balance between progress and inclusiveness. Having a dozen players seems to be a pretty good number in terms of keeping the game ticking along. Not everyone always has to post, but we almost always get enough players posting each day (or each couple of days) to move the game forward.

Regarding Patreon; I'd never seen that before, but I guess it's a bit like Kickstarter? It is certainly plausible that I could use crowd funding to produce the Hinterlands DD supplement... I might have no other option! The challenge there is whether I want you guys to have access to all the behind the scenes material you haven't discovered or played yet! That would risk spoiling our game here--but on the upside, there's no risk of that happening any time soon I still have to get DD Reliquary done before I get serious about an official "Hinterlands".

Plenty to think about there...

I'm still in mourning over the lost Moria game. I may literally cry if Hinterlands ends...

Kickstarter is kind of a payment first, product second way of doing things, whereas Patreon is more of a payment upon delivery thing. I am supporting two bloggers (Dyson Logos and Courtney Campbell) with tiny amounts, like a nickel or dime every time they make a blog post. My total commitment for both is capped under $5 a month.

I know it's not much at all but I figure that if everyone did it, it would add up to some serious money.

For a one-shot project like the DD Reliquary, Patreon might not be the best solution. Something like Kickstarter or Indiegogo would probably be a better bet.

Apologies, WOTE, I wasn't trying to push for a faster posting rate. I was just... being me. I generally say what is on my mind. It isn't meant to turn opinions one way or the other; it just is.

I think it's a fair way to run one's life.

But certainly the posting rate is not BAD, all things considered and when compared to many other PbP games out there.
