If the thing keeps moseying like it is, he'll spring forward and attack it once it's close enough. Otherwise, he'll receive its attack and then counterattack. (I.e., depends on initiative.)

Understood. Given Ulric's position and physical strength, this may make Guntrum's decision that much easier.
