Let's continue on with the plan of burning the mould.

1. Who is throwing oil, and how many flasks?

2. If it gets smoky, which direction will you retreat?

"Ok if we're going to do this let's just get it done." Kiplyn would move towards the north end of the room. "Let's throw from over here so if we have run we know where we are going." He would then prepare 2 flasks of oil and offer Blifur one of them.

At a distance he will throw the oil at the mold

Dame Simonetta agrees with Kiplyn, we should retreat north. We probably need at least three flasks, so she will throw one as well, aiming for a different area than that targetted by Kiplyn and Bilfur (but still not too close to any hobbets!)

Dougal will likewise toss a vial of oil, waiting for the other three to throw and then making sure to get any areas the others might have missed (via bad throws). He stands as far away from the mold as he can when he does this, making sure he is at least 10' away.

Turns 18-19

It takes 4 flasks of oil to finish off the yellow mold. Dougal and Bilfur have the best throws.

The smoke forces the party to retreat back to the intersection. The fire burns for a turn, and then it takes another full turn for the smoke to clear.

Where to next? Areas 5 and 6 are essentially unsearched.
Oil attack rolls:
Kiplyn 4 miss
Dame Simonetta 8 miss
Bilfur 15 hit for 3hp
Dougal 12 hit for 6hp

Yellow Mold takes 9hp fire damage and is destroyed.

wandering monster 1d6=1, no encounter

Dougal will lead the way back into Room 5 to see if anything is left after the mold has burned off.

Kiplyn is still a little leary about the mold area, so he hangs back bit keeping an ear and eye out. "Black sooty yellow mold, yuck"

Dame Simonetta thinks the mounds in the yellow mould room should be investigated, but she also isn't too keen on digging through them herself. So she will move to the exit (towards the ooze-creature's room) and keep watch.
