I am forcing myself to not read the public game thread, in solidarity for the suspense you must be feeling about the secret doings.

I believe it is customary, when wooing the fairer sex, to go bearing gifts of flowers and poetry and professions of deep and meaningful affection? Hence, one might further speculate that --if employed--these regalia might have a "meaningful" effect on those reaction checks? As it is, Gustave's natural "+1" just doesn't appear to be cutting it.

What? Come on, the Guv would outshine Casanova or Don Juan any day of the week! :D

On another note, that shooting competition was as exciting as watching the olympics!

Whoo! That was tense.

I have a tedious meeting to attend to this morning, so I was fully expecting to find a bunch of poor dice rolls to go along with my morning coffee.

Grats! Though I suppose it was mostly just good dice rolls. Good gamble, though.

(It's always a good gamble when you win, right?)

I must say, though, purely from an aesthetic point of view, elven chainmail doesn't appear to go well with oily black-green skin leather gloves...

:x :D

If he really doesn't want the gloves, he could try to trade them for someone else the elves have that's cool.
