I know it probably rubs Dieter the wrong way that Desmond's kill count (3) is higher than Dieter's (2), but... no need to ignore the little guy!

'tis brilliantly done...
(I left that last line in on purpose; how often does Desmond do something brilliantly, eh?)

Desmond/Mondes has his eye in, however, and quickly looses a volley of missiles :: 2d6=4,5 ::, and drops the black-robe before it gets too far.
The guilt should be shared by both if we've acted too hastily...

Do you all remember Sister Meena? She was the nun Ulric charmed and who let us in the front gate the first time. She told us this:

"We once counted ourselves Sisters of Mercy... but that was long ago; before Saint Carrie saved us."

The black robes are likely the original Sisters of the abbey who have turned toward darker gods.

You're quite right; I apologize. I missed that while skimming back to check.

So it's the two of us (three?) going to hell if we're wrong.

Humans use the ironic term "friendly fire," but the Elves have a more poetic term. It roughly translates "in the calm before the storm, the honorable sentinel is struck down by lightning and spared the horrors of war to come."

When you get there, you can go raid the Alcazars and get those magic-weapons ;)
