(Carc hasn't squawked but he looks a little tense.)

Robur starts laughing outloud. "Turned to stone by a monster!" say Robur. "Whoever heard of such a ridiculous..." Then Robur notices nobody joins his laughing, and he abruptly stops. "You're serious aren't you!" exclaims Robur. "What in the shire could have done this to this poor woman thing?"

Dame Simonetta was thinking that perhaps this 'statue' is actually just the caveman, but upon Robur's discovery she changes her mind... This must be another dwarf who has met a grisly end!

"This is a dwarf, whatever turned her to stone may or may not be long gone," she announces, pausing to listen warily for any noises coming down one of the tunnels.

No unusual sounds can be heard from any of the passageways.

What's the plan?

“Carc’s eyes are better than most, and he doesn’t think any danger is imminent,” Noh offers up, “but whether giant crossbow wielder and stoner are the same or different creatures entirely, they are dangerous. Whatever we do we should have eyes and ears focused on each of the five exits of this room,” he says, he hopes in a helpful manner.

Kiplyn would quietly work his way to the North - East passage leading out of the room. He'd look and listen there and try to get a sense of where it goes.

Dame Simonetta is in favour of leaving altogether and returning back to area 7. However, she is most certainly not going to abandon the other hobbets, no matter how foolish. She accompanies Kiplyn to provide protection.
