All, just a quick heads up. I've been having some hardware issues with my desktop PC; a second video card (in four years) has "fizzed", so I have no display on my main PC. I can still check in with my netbook or phone, but I'll hold off on major posts until I have a real keyboard and screen. I'm expecting to be back in action (with a woefully inadequate replacement card) by this evening...

Wanted to note that we're expecting up to 2 feet of snow beginning Monday evening in my neck of the woods so if I disappear for a few days, it's most likely because I lost power.

Hope your fix is painless, WOTE.

We had a bit of light rain here today; really just a mist, I guess. My all-weather radials handled it just fine, though.

Good luck with the snow folks.

Where I live, we see snow flakes about once every decade, and half the time it melts before it hits the ground and it's never stuck for more than a day. And I hope I haven't just jinxed us. ;)

Welcome to the game, Fatal T! I have a very good friend from Adelaide, though she hasn't lived there in years; all her family is still there, though. She lives in Maine right now. When we chatted the other day, she was busy making her husband and daughter go outside and shovel 3' of snow. I TOLD her she had some adjusting to do when she said they were moving to Maine...

Thank you for the welcome all, it's great to be a part of this. I've enjoyed reading the exploits for some time now, some very good stuff! I apologize for not checking this thread earlier - I have a house full of kids that keep me hopping!

Adjusting, hehe! I'm originally from the US and moved down here a couple of years ago so I know all about adjusting :D I think i aged my poor wife a bit learning how to drive and so forth, but we survived somehow.
