You open the door, turn south and head down the corridor.The corridor goes south for at least 60 feet, with an east branch at 50 feet. At the point that the side passage branches out, you see that black-robed creature with glowing red eyes coming towards you

I think the plan was roughly:

• Wiglaff casts color spray
• everyone else throws holy water

If neither of the above has an effect, we flee.

But if we seem to have done some damage, engage with silver weapons.

Also: is the wraith standing at the intersection? or is it coming from one direction or another?

Wraith was coming out of the side passage. He probably heard your earlier altercation

The shadowy figure is not impressed with Aldbane's piety, and keeps coming

The plan is good, but Aldbane is 3rd level and has a shot at turning wraiths. Even if it is not a wraith, it's worth a try.

Aldbane backs up behind Wiglaff, then grabs a vial of holy water from his pouch and will hurl it at the wraith at first opportunity.

| I am going to rule that the color spray affects the creature, as it is susceptible to light
It gets a saving throw, due to its hit dice
BUT, it will get a penalty on its saving throw
HOWEVER, it will not be rendered unconscious - I will instead make it stunned/dazed for a number of combat rounds |

Wiglaff casts a bright dazzling array of colors, and the figure halts in its tracks, motionless

Are people going to charge the motionless figure and hurl holy water at it at point blank range?

I assume Wiglaff's action for this round was to cast the spell, but yes! Hurl all the holy water we have, then attack with silvered weapons.

What I want to know, is are you hurling from 50 feet away, or running up there to the dazed being so that you can't miss. And how many are doing so
