Meanwhile on the opposite side of the courtyard...
flightcommander wrote:Armando draws back to confer with Josiane. "I suspect this to have been a kennel of sorts — I believe our canine foes charged forth from within. I investigate ..." And with that, he sneaks inside with utmost quiet. Armando's first target is the door to the right, at which he stops to listen.
Armando pads into the room, which by the stink of it must have been some kind of quarters for the werewolves; he spies bedding heaped along the back wall--doubtless crawling with fleas and lice--as he makes his way to the door on the right and... listens. d6 Now here there's not absolute silence, he's sure. He heard something there, did he not? Perhaps just a distant echo, for there is nothing more to be heard now...

"Right," Dieter says, adjusting his grip on his new silvered sword. "Who's got light?"

Dorgan says, "This pile 'a rubble is good cover. Let's get the others over here and then we can jump over and have a look around."

The dwarf will wave over the rest of the party.

"Dunno about light. I gotta get me one'a them miner helmets with a torch on top. Mebbe I can whip one up without burning me hair off..."

Wen would attempt to bound across the moat with Elven grace to join the others. "I can not conjure light while wearing armor sadly but I have a torch in my pack..." Wen would proceed to light a torch and offer it to someone to carry. He would also have a few candles on the ready to sit as we move further in.

"I have my lantern as always," Ulric offers holding up the item, now lit. "But I agree with Dorgan. Let's get everyone over here. We're already missing two; let's not get any more divided."

Olaf has been shadowing the fighters from the other side of the moat, covering them with his bow. Now that they have reached the breached wall. He stops and continues to provide cover while everyone moves over the moat.

Olaf will be one of the last to cross the moat hopping from stone to stone. When it is his turn, he will switch from the bow to his sword and then sword and shield once across. He is still covering the rear of the party from attack in that direction.

Once we're all assembled, Dieter enters the chapel, as ready for an attack as he can be.

What does he see?

Josiane sheathes her sword and takes the torch from Wen, her elfin shield on her other arm.
