I'll let you guys decide if you want to take on the blob, or are happy to escape from it and carry one

Aldbane is fine either way, he has lots of oil and can use that against the blob. It won't net us any treasure, however, so maybe it's better to move on.

Franklin votes to deal with the blob, for the simple reason it's between us and the exit. Better to deal with it now than a hypothetical future when we are low on resources and in a hurry to get back to the surface.

Nailus agrees that leaving a known enemy behind us is a bad thing.

Franklin volunteers to Aldbane, "Balbo and Drogo have strong throwing arms and are standing by with oil flasks. If you all coordinate your throws, you could trap the creature in a ring of fire. As for me, this potion of heroism feels amazing and makes me want to shoot sling stones."

Maloof agrees, let's try to get rid of the blob now. For his part, he'll use his sling.
