Based on the length of this thread, we've been down here a while!

I'm also thinking with @coffee retiring from the game, maybe there is an argument to return Rhod safely to the surface?

My rough guesstimate is you would earn 1950 xp each

If that's enough xp to level-up Nailus, then Franklin enthusiastically votes yes!

Franklin himself doesn't care so much about experience points these days. He has achieved all of his goals: maximum level, faithful dog, magic sword, precious ring, two loyal hobbets and a small army of friends to fight by his side. At this stage of his career, Franklin is adventuring for the sheer thrill and excitement.

@kipper I have been thinking: With Rhod's retirement it makes sense for Franklin to lean into his niche as the party's front-line fighter. I think the ring of invisibility should go to Maloof. From a meta-game perspective, invisible thief makes more sense than invisible fighter, and from Franklin's perspective, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to team up with an invisible gnome. What do you think??

Of course I won't say no to a magic ring! Especially since Maloof is really short on magic items (pun not intended).

From Franklin's perspective, he would rather be friends with an invisible thief :D than be an invisible fighter himself.
