"Rrrright then", intones Gustave resingedly as Dieter and Josiane disappear beneath the not-entirely-stable-looking door.
"Well, one must not be out bravadoed by the opposite sex eh?" he quips to Olaf, punching the other man lightly in the shoulder, "unless of course one is referring to Madame du Frois of Leenschchol - she could tear the arms off a bear without dropping her knitting..."
With that, he is on the floor and scampering after the others.

Desmond whimpers as he drops down to move under the doorway.
If one hasn't already been brought under, he holds out his hand and asks for a light from one of the party members remaining in Vault #2.

"Will we stay to guard the door, or shall we keep together," Guntrum asks. He is prepared to go under the door, provided he fits.

Olaf calls under the door in a loud whisper, "Don't leave that room and don't get into trouble!"
To Guntrum he says, "Let's stay here and keep this door open so they can retreat from there. Keep a watch for what may come upon us from behind, keep the stone raised and keep an open line of retreat."
OOC: Does Olaf still have his shield? If he does, can he wedge it under the door to help hold the door up? If he can, he will.

Highbough is intrigued by the big spherical thing, which he is just now seeing for the first time.
It is attached to the floor or free-standing? Does it have any wires, pipes, etc. connected to it?
A description of the object from a wise old Elf's perspective would be helpful.

Guntrum nods in acknowledgement to Olaf and turns to take up a vangaurd position just outside the 2nd vault in the passage that leads to the third vault. He remains alert for sound or a change in temperature. He notices Highbough looking at the spherical thing, which Guntrum, too, sees for the first time. "What do ye make of that thing, master Elf?"

Josiane is carrying a torch, but if
Desmond is willing she will happily pass it to him, freeing up her sword-hand thereby.

"You're welcome, Lord
Dieter," murmurs
Josiane softly, before adding in a louder (but still quiet) voice; "I agree. Touch not the gold! If I read this a-right the last who did came to ruin..."
"Sweet Lady, let it not have been our friends," she thinks to herself desperately.
She will take a moment to examine the nearest of the sarcophagi (although she is careful not to touch them). Do any show signs of recent handling, or being opened or closed?
Also, she crouches and examines the floor. Any signs of a struggle? Drag-marks? Bloodstains? Anything?
