Dougal shakes his head, "Down here, logs attack us. I'm ok leaving these "crickets" for now and checking west and southwest from here."

Dame Simonetta agrees with Dougal. "The south-west tunnel may connect with the pit room, let's explore the north-west tunnel first."

Dame Simonetta takes a quick peek down the north-west tunnel. After about 50' she sees chalk marking all of the walls and floor, saying things like: "Dungeon Level 3. Warning! Danger! This means YOU!!! Dungeon Level 3 this way."

Dame Simonetta would rather not get too far away from our loot, she votes for the south-west exit.

Willie: "I'm with Dame S. Let's look around southwest of here, then loop back & get that silver!"

Dougal nods in agreement at the plan.

Turn 15

The southwest passage leads to an irregularly-shaped cave. The floor is littered with a knee-deep layer of bones. The only other exit is a low, narrow tunnel on the south wall. (Our heroes would have to crawl through, single file.)

Dame Simonetta stoops to examine some of the nearby bones. Are they huge/large/medium/small/tiny? dirty/clean? broken/intact? Held to each other by ligaments or jumbled? Are there any skulls present so that she can try to determine what type of creature they are from?

Kiplyn looks at the narrow passage, then at the bones... "You sure this is a good idea."
