Stern takes his place in the marching order heading left (now that Tass has given the all-clear).
Wishing you a speedy recovery @waysoftheearth !

COVID sucks. My father ended up in the hospital at the end of last week, so I was AFK through the weekend as well, being on Long Island. But the COVID test came back clear at least; though he's wicked dehydrated and this dementia and three cancers got a wee bit worse :( Back in Jersey now though.

Flin lights up a torch and takes his place in the rear of the group.

Thanis takes the first few cautious steps into the left passage, which turns immediately right, so that the 10ft wide passage runs parallel to and alongside the great chamber. The passageway is dark at this end, but some 100ft or so ahead a familiar orange glow dimly illuminates the walls and ceiling, revealing another section where the floor has presumably collapsed...
What next?

"Rats" Flin says softly. "I suppose we best check the other passage, but I'm not liking our chances". He heads back to the main chamber and then into the right passage.

Flin doesn't immediately see it in the darkness and from behind everyone else, but there is an opening back into the main hallway, about halfway down the dark passageway.

Do we need a light?
Or maybe thats a better question for the DM :)
Are there infravision rules? I know Garamon is a human, but what about dwarves or hobbets?

This general area is dimly illuminated by the glow of the signal fire, which is burning somewhere nearby, below the currently floor level, but its orange light comes up through the big holes in the floor. There are also areas of deep shadowy darkness (such as the end of the passage way the party is currently in).

However, Wraislin has already illumined his magic staff, and Flin has already fired up a torch. So there is no major shortage of light.

FWIW, infravision is a magic-user spell, but dwarfs and elves can "see equally well by day or by night". In other words, they can see well enough in near--but not total--darkness.
Hobbets have regular vision.

Goldwen reflects upon her vision from The Immaculate Mother Goddess to see if she can determine where the party needs to go in order to find the dragon la- wyrm spear...

Goldwen has the intuitive sense that the Wyrmspear is somewhere deeper, much deeper down in the caves.
