Padrig stuffs his scrolls away and draws forth a flask of oil from his pack, unstops it then grabs Ulric's lantern to set a flame to the brimming oil as quickly as he is able.
Ulric cares not that he is relieved of the lantern for his thoughts are already concentrated upon dredging up the arcane syllables of the Throe of Anthracite Sufferance and assembling them upon his lips and tongue...
As this is happening Dieter, Mads and Andaros throw themselves aside from the narrow passage opening as Olaf calls for all missile fire, but as the fighting Men make way and the Ogre falls back (swearing violently) into the passage only Pelenwin responds with a rock cast by hand (1d20=6) but even this lone missile deflects awkwardly off the low passage ceiling to clatter harmlessly upon the floor. The Ogre bends down and grabs the corpse of Caine by one leg and drags it shamelessly behind it as it retreats all the way back to the dark elbow of the passage.
...with his eyes aglow with sorcerous copper-fire, Ulric find that the Ogre is well beyond the reach of his incantation, so does not attempt to unleash his spell.
Olaf, now with renewed vigour leaps into the narrow passge, and spies the foe a dozen strides down yonder passage...
Meanwhile, Gustave and Thorgrim note that the heavy double doors behind them now stand slightly ajar. Certainly this was not the case when they first passed these... was it?
Gentlemen, your intentions for next round?
