I'm sure it will my friend Ulric. Now let us loan our items to Pelenwin to help identify. You know I would not trust anyone else to aid us here except Pelenwin, for you don't know who to trust in Ket. We may run into a stranger who turns out to be a friend or an other who whould slit your throat and steal you blind. Lets just be careful.

Desmond/Mondes puts on the voluminous cloak after it has been roughly cut short with a dagger. The hood is large enough to cover both his heads, though upon close inspection it is clear something odd is going on. However, it will have to do.

The strange Halfling makes his way through the crowds to the tailors and vendors along Flea Street. He attracts a few remarks and stares, but his small size means he is able to avoid any genuine scrutiny.

(Desmond can purchase anything from the standard clothing list; just list your purchases here. I'm assuming for now that Desmond is not risking being measured by a tailor or attempting to actually try clothes on.)

This done, he finds his way past the timber mill along Bow Street to the smithies, where he can purchase a shirt of mail that was made for a boy at 90 sp.

Shirt (1sp) (slightly over-sized)

Keeping in mind some of the challenges they'd recently faced, Desmond also looks to purchase the following:
1 dozen fishing hooks and plenty of line, stored in a small leather wallet (kind of like a bi-fold wallet with harder leather on the outside and soft leather on the inside - the hooks stuck into the soft leather within)

He also purchases:
child's sized chain shirt (90sp)
(2) steel skull cap helmets (60sp)
(2) sacks (6cp)
belt pouch (4cp)

Total Expenses:
6cp
167sp
cost of fishing hooks and line (?)

Desmond will use most of his copper (348cp = 58sp) from his share when he goes to buy the chain shirt.

He'll use 6 of his remaining coppers for the clothing/sack items (2 left).
He'll use 109 of his silvers for the rest of the armour price and the other clothes/items (79sp left)

He won't stock up on foodstuff items until they're ready to head out again.

OOC: WOTE, do we have to do anything special to attain our next level? Or... are we just at the next level? Also, does Desmond continue with the -1 CON reduction at this point? Might there be some way of removing it?

Highbough approaches Albert the proprietor. He limps and wheezes to appear even more frail than usual, and makes sure his hood covers his pointy ears. Ulric leaves Wibert with the dagger and the bottle of Brandy to give to Pelenwin, and thus the Deacon, at the Temple of Thuul.

He then trots across town toward the Trader's Concourse with the spear and potion in order to research these items himself...

He waves his two apprentices, sandy headed boys not yet grown to their full height, to cease their hammering a moment.
