Ulric will first return to the Plough and Furrow to collect Highbough and some additional funds before going to the library. Highbough's own knowledge of the arcane will be most useful in identifying the strange items.waysoftheearth wrote:He then trots across town toward the Trader's Concourse with the spear and potion in order to research these items himself...
Olaf and Dieter walk across town again, this time in anticipation of picking up a huge treasure from Brigitta in exchange for the sparkling necklace.eris wrote: "Time to go." Olaf says, "Dieter, you coming along?"
Olaf will head back to Brigitta hoping to meet Gustave there.
No sooner does Josiane begin to sip at her tea than do Dorgan, Olaf and Dieter all arrive at the Plough. The common room was already beginning to buzz with chatter, but at the sight of the chest Olaf and Dieter are carrying there is almost a cheer from the buoyant company of adventurers.doctorx wrote: She will order herself some tea and join the others, looking out to see if Dorgan and Percy have returned yet.

The burly smith narrows his eyes and frowns a moment, figuring, before replying. "Well, we do that best armourin' roubd these parts, that's tha truth," he states matter of factly, "An it ain't simply putting steel rings togetha, ohh no. This here is propa armour plate." he raps his knuckles loudly on the breast plate. It does indeed seem rather solid, for all that.tonneau wrote: ""Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Gustave Tonneau, and I seek the services of a superior smith - it seems", he adds, running his eye again over the work in progress, "that I have found one."

The smith's eyes narrow even further as Gustave talks around the point, but eventually he relents.tonneau wrote:"For the purpose of protection my good man", replies Gustave, "of this fragile corporal body", he adds for clarity, padding himself down for emphasis and grinning despite himself.
Noting a lack of comprehension from the burly smith, he clarifies further "I require a suit of superior armour for myself, good Sir. And I would like you to make it for me".
