Ah, the carnage is ferocious indeed. The fighting-Men hew, hack and hatchet mightily, severing limbs, slashing open chest cavities, and lopping off still-burning heads. It is a slaughter-fest, and the first four abominations are sent back to their proper deaths. Yet more keep coming!

(Dieter, Olaf, Ulric, Desmond/Mondes, Wibert, Pelenwin)
Scarcely a moment after Wibert and Pelenwin rush into the vault, the dead come on!

But as the first of them are savagely eviscerated, the next are already burgeoning into the vault!

What next?

Wibert look around for what he can do to aid the fight. He looks ahead for path to retreat if required.

What does Wibert see ahead. Is there a more defensible place to fight? A high place to shoot bows? Or any passageways we can escape down is his first priority?

How wide is the passageway Dieter and Olaf are fighting in, can more of us fit in?

If Wibert can't scout for an escape route and must fight he will stuff the torch in the ground or in a wall gap or drop it, and fight with short sword and magical dagger against the undead.

OOC: Ulric moves to the left side of the chamber as shown in the map in Post 182 to check the side passages. He has the scepter in hand and leaves his lantern on the floor behind the fighting men.
